His pride

Finally – a sketch from september 2014, finished the colouring just today. I'm working on my to-do-list and finished sketches that are lying around here for months.

I wanted to draw this sweet boy for some years now – the latest picture of him is from 2008 – and stopped when I couldn't manage to draw the wings fully on the paper. Everytime I started to big and they didn't fit.

You can see my OC Lyras climbing through the mountains and cliffs of his home area where his pack lives. He's not the leader but does always his best to protect every single Krasán there. That's why he's wearing at least many scars but he's proud of every won fight.
It's obviously who's his father... ^^ The blue colour, the tail and tag, and the pride - even if Lor hadn't much to do with his oldest child and only son he loves him and is proud of his strength and care for the pack.
Lyras learned to not miss his father – but he loves him and loses all his silent manner when they meet again sometimes. Lor often felt remorse 'bout their distance but Lyras (and his two sisters) told their father many times that it's not necessary.

Yeah, I really like the outcome The sky is very bright, I know...
This picture, by the way, was the first time I tried to change my style of colouring and even more the style of shades and lighting. And I'm really really satisfied.
To cut some parts of the background off was an experiment.
